Almost as bad as getting smacked in the mug by a goose, a la Fabio.

I think it's all related to the stigmatism that has had me wearing glasses or contacts since I was 6.

Shadflies, shmadflies. You should be in North Bay in July (right, T?). They're freakin' everywhere. At night, you have to drive down Lakeshore Drive as if it was an icy winter night, cuz the road is covered with shads and driving over them and crushing their guts out makes the road as slippery as if it was coated in ice.

Oy, youse guys in Munreeall don't know from shadflies!Bobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02820283554188267414noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7916860834838233050.post-39874933020312445812008-05-27T18:24:00.000-04:002008-05-27T18:24:00.000-04:00I lived in la belle province for two years and i n...I lived in la belle province for two years and i never went to La Ronde.

I just don't do rides. I am thinking I will exchange about 500 EUROS since we have a stopover in either Rome or Frankfurt and I will exchange the rest in Greece. I managed to buy about 30 EUROS from a co-worker who had some left over from a recent trip to Turkey but not sure that will be enough for the 4 of us to grab a bite. heh!

When you guys leaving?Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12271539341601628629noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7916860834838233050.post-10120935634135045302008-05-27T10:30:00.000-04:002008-05-27T10:30:00.000-04:00Mmmmmm shopping! and I love Bed Bath and Beyond, e...Mmmmmm shopping! and I love Bed Bath and Beyond, especially the Beyond part.

Euros, no still looking into that. So your relatives say take Canadian and exchange there!? I'll look into that as well. A co-worker that is going to Italy at the end of the week and the exchange was 1.58. I bought a few little naughty numbers to bring to my cousin in Greece as gifts since she is getting married in September. Then we went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and did some shopping. We then headed to Ponderossa for lunch and ended with a visit to Price Chopper to buy Haagen Hazs ice cream (we brought a cooler) 3 containers of Haagen Dazs for $9.99. Compared to $6.00 each in Montreal. We also bought all sorts of other groceries and snacks that we don't have here. Organic juice is a real hit with my kiddies. Hubby bought a Pomgrenate and Green tea drink that is only 70 calories and delicious! He also bought a nice pair of shoes and some socks. Princess also bought a few things.

When we crossed the border they let us through without charging us any duty or taxes. We didn't spend that much only about $140.00 for the 4 of us in goods and then about $150.00 in groceries. However, there is no limit on groceries.

Have a great day!

BTW, any news on where to change EUROS. I usually go to to Globex (in Westmount) or Calforex (downtown). However, my aunt said its better to just change a bit of cash to get down there and then exchange the balance in Europe as they offer a better exchange rate at destination.Mariahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12271539341601628629noreply@blogger.com
