Who ya gonna call?
Seems there's a Ghost Hunting and Paranormal group here in Montréal. Being a 'believer' and wishing to see what's really 'out there' I figured "what the hell..." and so I've signed on and will be attending my first group investigation this coming weekend...
Hey, Maria... there's still room for one more... wanna come? ;-)

Shucks... I would have tagged along but I am busy this weekend and next weekend and probably for a few weekends after that. But hey, by all means you have a great time and tell us all about it when you get back (if you get back). Actually on second thought don't tell us all about it because to be quite honest I am petrified of anything related to paranormal activity.
in that case, I videotape all for ya Maria! ;-)
The truth finally comes out: Our little souvlaki, Maria, is chicken!
"I'm busy this weekend and the one after that yada yada..." and then "I'm petrified of the paranormal".
Acknowledgment is the first step towards healing, my little baklava.
"My name is Maria, and I'm afraid of ghosts..."
YUP I am petrified. Heck, I used to get scared watching FACT OR FICTION. Did anyone else ever watch that show?
I feel like I am entering one of those support groups.
Too bad it's not Kitty who's afraid. Then we could call him "Fraidy Cat".
Get it?
Hah! I got a million of 'em!
Altogether now,
1, 2, 3...
GROAN!
HEE HEE...
Better watch out Kitty, he's got a million of 'em and I am willing to bet we are gonna hear them all eventually. GO BOBBY, GO BOBBY!
that's totally hilarious. i love it. are you investigating "haunted" places? bring a tape recorder too.
2 locations this weekend, Redpath Library and some house in Westmount... I've got me a camera...
awesome i'm psyched. i heard that the gibby's steakhouse in old montreal is haunted.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Gibby's Best pickle in the city!
OMG I've been to Gibby's a few times... never gonna go again if its haunted.
Hey Kitty?
How'd your spooky weekend go? Are you still among the living?
Was a bit of a dud actually As it happened it was at the Redpath Natural History Museum... and as it was Open House day for McGill Univ, the place was PACKED... oh well... it was an interesting afternoon and a GREAT museum... AND it's free!
The kids would love it... dinosaurs, mummies, skulls a shrunken head, stuffed gorilla ....
Would have been right up my alley then. hee hee
Update as per request of the Cornster...
A bit of a dud of a day. Personally a couple of us conferred after and mentioned having the sensation of being choked or having difficulty breathing in the same spot. I went back 5 times to just make sure I was not imagining anything.
The building was giving off energies but then it being a natural science museum (not library as I had been told), filled with, among other things:
-an Egyptian mummy (human)
-misc animal mummies (falcon, cat, alligator, crane etc)
-a case full of human and humanoid skulls
-a Chinese breast place made entirely of teeth 'of the enemy'
-two greco/Roman crematory urns
-many animal skeletons
-and hundreds of artifacts from around the globe.
... if you believe in anything paranormal at all this place would give off energy for sure.
Add to that, the place was packed with people checking out the University's open house and you couldn't move freely to save your soul.
The other place we went to check was a church but the doors closed at 4 and we got there at 4:40..
Oh well. I'll go to the next meeting wherever it might be... in the mean time one of the members is willing to take me under his tutelage as a medium/sensitive so we''ll see where that goes as well...

As a side note it's an amazing museum and free of charge.
