Not sure what Victoria Day is BUT I do like the kitty photo! ;) peace
heh. It's a Holiday to celebrate the Queen's Birthday. [Victoria originally, but now for Queen Elizabeth, Even though QEII's birthday is actually in April]

Basically though, in Canada it marks the unofficial start to Summer, as it is the weekend many of us pack up and land at our cottages, camps, trailers etc to open them up for the season, or plant our gardens, or just sit back and relax for a long weekend... beer[s] in hand. :-)
oh, and PS: The image was from a card I had send my Nan for Thanksgiving last year. We both had a thing for selecting odd cards for normal occasions... this was one of the last. The actual last one was her 94th Birthday. The card was covered in monkeys and when you opened it there was a small electronic gizmo inside that played monkeys screaming. We loved it and so did she!
