SQUIRRELS!
Well I've not posted much lately, I guess we all go through dry spells. ...
Don't really have much to post even at this moment, but I said waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back on Sunday April 29th when I reported our mis-adventure at Parc Lafontaine and our narrowly escaping with our lives whilst feeding the squirrels I said next time we went back I'd take some video...

Squirrel fun was had indeed.
We will be back, and sooner than last time... and in more light so the vid will come through more...

On another note, We caught Bjork on Friday night, down in the Old Port. The Volta Tour. Didier was beside himself in gleeful wonder, as he's a freak-ass fan. I'm telling you... he Lurvs Bjork... we'll be just walking down the street, and he'll start singing "Oceania"... not the most melodic song out there people! It never ceases to impress me.
Bjork is like a Bag Pipe... amusical, discordant and yet remarkable beautiful and lyrical etherial all at the same time... It was a great night! we'll certainly go see her again, next time she's in town...

You saw Bjork? Huminah-huh? My envy of you runs deep. Who knew that I was not the only one who spontaneously sings "Oceania" in public spaces (honestly). Right now, I'm a bit preoccupied with an idea I have for turning "Innocence" into a movement performance with kids I work with.

Well well well, I thought my man was unique. (thanks for bursting the bubble heh) God help us if the two of you ever walked past each other on the street both singing 'Oceania'. - I'm sure that's a lesser known sign of the Apocalypse. Personally I can never do more than "Ooooooooooooo-cean-iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiia..." , then I'm lost. I'm not the hugest fan of Bjork, I guess that's you and Didier... but I love her older stuff. I was a wee bit bummed that neither of my 3 favs were sung ("Venus as a Boy", "Human Sensuality" or" It's Oh So Quiet") but she did do "Army of Me", and "Hunter" and I dig those, and "Oceania" was the encore. Yea it was fun for sure...
Speaking of 'movement' and Bjork. She danced her ass off in that sorta marionette way of hers and otherwise marching across the stage. And the stage, was great all these off flags and there was this 12-14 piece brass marching band, all females (it seemed) from Ice Land. The live brass was an interesting take on her music. Of course there was much electronica and percussion as well.

Dad is doing well, and the head nurse was amazed at how well the first treatment went and aside from a low fever, and being tired, he's been doing just fine. His next treatment is Oct 2nd. He's very touched with everyone's kind words and thoughts and as well the donations for my walk this coming Friday night...

Yea I've seen you've been a posting demon. I gotta get caught up on all things TB, I'll be back in posting mode in the coming day(s) Not so sure but I think I' over-posted' at the beginning of the month. But I'm back at it, so be expecting more from me... all light and fluffy and frivolous and Kitty... :-)

stopped taking dilaudid early august, & celebrex early september.
feeling i still need those, but ain't keen on pills to start with, so, i'll keep it like that. started physio, funny revelations... i feel contact but i can't feel heat in some places. as i don't intend to walk on coals any time soon, it's not worrying me so much...
otherwise, well, i've bounced back, thanx to the support of my friends!!it wasn't a pity-party, but just giving me a nudge in the right direction, & they were most helpful. i'm grateful for their presence in my life.
so, i stay home, still not working, but doing mischief nonetheless!!!i know lucrecia occasionnally reads your blog, so, this may spoil the surprise but, yesterday, i used a pic from the "tetes-a-claques" & used
our features, lucrecia, linoue & i,
to most revolting results!!!

I was gonna post something last week asking you to POST SOMETHING ALREADY... I was suffering from Kitty withdrawls. Glad your back. BTW I ain't a big fan of squirrels the rabbies thing just kinds makes me want to stay away.

during his absence, that he'll keep at it more regularly. or was it the opposite? that he's punishing us (maybe unconsciously...) by keeping silent.
