Sleepless nights, sleepful car rides and ABBA!

Yea, well, as I said it was a very sleepless night... I think between the two of us, we got a good 12 minutes sleep... Not great considering we're only at the mid-point of a week's vacation... but what can ya do?

We had a pleasurably breakfast and then headed down to the Byward Market again... Time to SHOP! :-) YAY!

I don't know what it is about the Market, but I LURV shopping there. Picked up some cookie cutters for me Ma, and some cards, and some spices and them incredible kick ass orange nougats from 'Made in France' on Dalhousie... certainly worth the trip!

Then time to eat at Zaks... a 50's Diner type place... Best damn Lemon-Lime Milkshake I ever had! YUM!

And then it was time in all the 30' heat and 38' humidity to get a little relief... we all piled back in car, cranked the A/C and then sweet sweet peaceful sleep....

When we got back to Montréal it was 33' heat and 42' humidity... Hmmmm Can we go back to Ottawa?

After a couple hours under the home A/C cranked on HIGH we headed on over to Mi Burrito and then made a bee-line for Cabaret Mado for the evening's festivities...

MADO chante ABBA!

And sooner than you can sign MAMMA MIA! the day, and the show were over....
