Got a Favour to Ask..

I got a call from my folks tonight... my Dad finally got his results back from the biopsy done two weeks ago. It's official. the big C. All we know now is 'lymphoma' What type... not sure. How bad... not sure. Treatment... not sure. He's now back in line to meet with an Oncologist...

So, If y'all wouldn't mind, say a prayer, think a happy healthy thought, or send some positive energy in my Dad's Direction...

Wayne Malcolm Edward Joseph Ellis.

We're not done with him yet.

Thanks.

Much appreciated.

Service is a relative term...

This has been going on since the beginning of June... Everything is always a 3 week or so wait... First CAT, Second CAT, Appointment with Surgeon, Biopsy Surgery... The results today didn't even come from the Pathologist, they came from Dad's GP who hounded the Pathologist since Thursday for the results...

Now he's waiting again... could be a day, a week... (I don't even want to think past that) I'm just very thankful that Didier and I had already planned a tirp down East at the end of the month...

Golden Age? -- yeah, right.

Kitty, I'm sending all the positive vibes I can muster to you and your whole family.

When you do go down East, give him and your Mom both a big hug from me. I'm sure I speak for all your cyber pals, too.

I am so sorry to hear about your family going through such a difficult time. Life is not fair sometimes!

I say you call the doc/hospital yourself and get your dad the appointment he needs. Older folks will sometimes JUST LISTEN to the doctors without questioning it, takes a push sometimes and you are just the person to do that.

In the meantime, I will send all the prayers I can towards your dad. They are called the Greek Gods for nothing!

NGB is right he does speak for all your cyber pals. He is kinda like the speaker of the house. Give your folks a hug from me too!

Thanks again all. You don't know how much it helps! Told my parents, they were indeed pleased...

TB... All we know so far is that it is lymphoma. What SPECIFIC type we do not know yet, He has an appoinment with both an hematologist and an oncologist. to get the specifics, how advanced it is and what will be the treatment and so on. The biopsy was form the lymph nodes in his chest. They will likely be going back in for more now. We'll know more next week.
