Quote of the Week (17)

"Procrastination is not the problem, it's the solution. It's the Universe's way of saying: 'Slow down. You move, too fast. Listen to the music. Whoa, Whoa. Listen to the music. Because, music makes the people come together. It makes the Bourgeois and the Rebels. So, come on people now, smile on your brother and everybody, try to love one another. Because, what the world needs now is love, sweet love. And I know love is a battlefield, but boogie on Raggae Woman, because you're gonna make it after all. So celebrate good times. Come on.'

I've got to stop. I've got to come to my senses. I've been out riding fences for so long... Oops, I did it again.

Umm, what I'm trying to say is... If you leave here tonight and you don't remember anything else that I've said; leave here and remember this - Procrastinate now! Don't put it off."

It was a FANTASTIC show! I saw the show live when she was here at Place Des Arts...

I've fgollowed her career for so long, since before that life altering moment on Carson when se did lots of those "Evening at the Improv" type shows.

I've always been impressed with her sense of fair play, reality, not to mention humour.

Being a born procrastinator, this just speaks to me...

not a big, big fan of ellen, but i do enjoy her work when i get to see it. i didn't watch her whole tv series, but surely didn't miss her coming out on that show. it was done most cleverly.
& for this show, i really appreciated her humor, her overview of things, only to do a full circle about procrastination...
really a funny girl.
as for procrastination itself,
to my defense,
i'll say that i used to be an adrenaline-junky, postponing stuff
so i'd do it at the last minute, feeling a rush...
where do i stand now?
i dunno...
standing pretty still right now!!
:D~

I am torn between the next Friday the 13th, or Hallowe'en

either have a certain appeal....
maybe i could create a visual to commemorate the event.
BTW, lucrecia is delighted with the visual i created for her lucreciabloggia, as much as the one for her sainthood...
what is it with all these people wanting to be saints???
is it the new "in" thing to do.
all i've managed is to be the devil's advocate, aka Me Cromagnon.
guess we're not meant to all be "heavenly"...
:D~
