Something Good.

Didier,

Perhaps I had a wicked childhood.
Perhaps I had a miserable youth.
But somewhere in my wicked miserable past
I must have had a moment of truth.

For here you are.
Standing there.
Loving me.
Whether or not you should.

So somewhere in my youth
or childhood
I must have done something good.

Nothing comes from nothing.
Nothing ever could.
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good.

Here you are standing here Loving me.
Whether or not you should.

So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good.

Nothing comes from nothing.
Nothing ever could.

So some where in my youth or child
or childhood
I must have done something.
Something good.

Before Saturday July 16th 2005, I must have done something good, because that was the day I met Didier. Three years after, I still don't know what it was, but I'd do it again if I could.

Happy Anniversary.

How sweet of you to write a lovely song, go back 40+ years in time, hire Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer to perform it, and then film the whole thing for Didier. You are amazing!

(Happy anniversary!)
