Bitter Sweet.
So over the weekend, the company I work for moved offices. Not a great distance really if I had a car and drove to work, but because I take the Metro and a bus it's actually doubled my commute from 8 metro stops to 19! FUN...
...but whatever, that just gives me more time to read a book on the metro.
What's got me, both at once excited and worried is the fact that my favourite fast-food (say what you want about it, I effing love the stuff!) McDonalds is only a 3 minute walk away.

McDonalds is my least favorite fast food except for the fries and the yog. parfait.
I've only ever been to a McDonalds once and that was in NY. My friend Carmen wanted to compare the burgers to the ones back home, I'm a vegetarian, so I just had a diet coke.
McDo=laxative to me. 'Nuff said.
@ mitzi: i'm with you on mc do, not a big costumer, been there 3 times my whole life...have you ever been to a coke factory? if you had, the vegan in you would switch right away to water or some juice. the stuff they put in there would totally disgust you...

@ M-K: mc do, eh? if it was a 30 minutes walk, done briskly, your butt would keep in great shape, but 3 minutes... not good!!! try walking around the block a few times.i guess, in your case, the adage is true: location-location-location!!!

I'm with you, Kitty. McDonald's = tasty. There's no getting around that for me (although I'm bitter that they've discontinued the Big Xtra...)

ANY fast food but McDevils!! ANY! Have you not seen Supersize me? I implore you Misster Kitty, go to Wendy's or Subway, hell even Burger King but not McD's! Your Chicken Pox antibodies were absorbed into the grease from Mc'D's! They are still there but we don't have the technology to filter through the fat and grease!! I'm lighting a candle for you right now, and I'm not even religious. ;) peace

No matter what all of you say, (other than my brother from another mother... Jerome) nothing, and I mean nothing you say could make me not love McDo. EVER... not even a study that proved that eating McDo would turn me straight! ... that's just how commited I am to this love-affair.

LOL, okay I tried! ;) I do admit they smell good. I go to a Chevron that has a McD's built on to it and sometimes it just smells so goo. So tempting, I just make the sign of the cross and back out slowly, once again...not religious. ;)peace
