Maria...why you make a bye bye?

Maria said...

Maria is in the process of maybe making a bye-bye, details need to be worked out... if it happens it will be just for a few years. The offer is AMAZING... and being paid in EUROS sounds awesome.
Plus, its gonna be a change, which I think we all need in our lives at one point or another. no?

Yes, NGB a european crash pad... what could be better?

Kitty, I was wondering if you meant to house sit my place in Montreal? In Europe (when & if I get there, I will be renting)? Or the one in the USA?

Cool! Crash pads in Europe AND Florida!
Does life get any better?

I'm sure Shirley'll be back soon when the withdrawal symtoms kick in.

Actually the Florida pad has not been purchased yet. We have decided to go with a pool home instead of a resort style townhouse and so we have put it on hold for the next few months.

BUT... we do have a place in Arizona. Yeah, I know why Arizona? but it was a great deal several years ago and its hot... so...

Bob said...

Is the Arizona pad on a beach? :)

Maria said...

No beach in Arizona, Only pools.
Yeah, I know too bad!

I'm wondering about the Equestrian events - do these people actually ship their horses all the way across the world for the Olympics? Don't they have to be quarantines? Isn't it awfully stressful for the animal. And, how can they perform after all that travel? What about all that nasty Chinese air pollution? I understand horses are super-sensitive to stuff in the air.
