one week later.

Same shit,
different day.

I get to bitch becauseIi voted and it wasn't for HIM.

If you didn't vote, or you DID vote and it was for THEM, then I guess you can just shut the hell up for the next, what?.. 2-3 years? til another illegal election is called.

I wish you and others would stop calling it an illegal election. Sure, it doesn't fit into the fixed-date election concept, but don't forget, we were in a minority government situation.
I didn't want an election and don't want another one for a good long time, but how can any supporter of the Liberals or NDP call it illegal when they were frequently threatening to topple the government? Who would have been breaking the law then?

I still love ya, Kitty. I might not agree with what you say, but I would defend to the death your democratic right to say it.

Now give Ma her milk, will ya?

The ONLY reason we had the damn 300 MILLION Dollar election was because Harper thought he was assured a Majority Government...

That's It.

His excuse of a dysfunctional parliment was a pile and a crock to make him seem like he actually gave a shit about Canada.

Tell me one prior Parleiment that wasn't dyscunctional?! You ever watch or listen to them?!?!

The simple fact is we're in no better a position, and we wasted 300 Mill and YES he broke his own electoral law. Pure and Simple.

And yes, you are right that the NDP and Liberals 'threatened' elections but that's purely posturing that even the Conservatives did many times while in opposition of minority govenrments.

There was no good reason to go to the polls and we're no better than we were before.

And Ma's milk is in the mail

What? You didn't vote conservative? You DO surprise. Oh well, we have the next one to look forward to in a year or so

I agree with every point you make, except paragraph #6. Jack Layton wanted to be Prime Minister, and really thought he could be. Dion -- well, who knows what the hell he thought.

When that next election comes in a year or so, I'm going to be campaign manager and #1 cheerleader for the 'MISSTER KITTY FOR PRIME MINISTER" campaign.
I think the Peace Tower would look fab in leopard print.
