Okay, we got 29 centimetres in Ottawa over the last couple days. It wouldn't bother me a bit if that's it for the winter. We're pretty well guaranteed a white Christmas now, and that's the most important thing to me. I'm still loving shovelling my driveway, however, because it's MY driveway. Besides, I haven't really shovelled any snow since I lived at home more than 25 years ago, because since then, I've been an apartment dweller -- until about a month ago, when I moved into my own home.
Stick a sock in it would ya... regarding the snow! We want to make sure that we don't get too much of the white stuff.
We are having relatives over for the holidays from AUSTRALIA of all places. Hubby's cousins who are soooooooo looking forward to a white Christmas!! They say its 40 degrees and hot at Christmas time in Australia. WOW! I say we switch homes during the holidays.
Hubby has not seen his cousin since he was about 10 and now he is coming with his wife and 2 kids who are around the same age as ours. Guess who will get stuck doing all the cooking? Thats right... MOI!

SO, how long did it take you to get home last night?
Neither snow, nor rain, nor sleet will keep ya from posting huh?
it took 10 mins more than usual... 50 mins instead of 40
:-)
AND I was singing Christmas Carols as I walked from the metro station.
10 minutes MORE than usual?? Are you kidding me? What did Santa pave a way for your ride home???
I was quite lucky too it only took me 1/2 an hour more than usual going from Dorval to CSL/NDG area.
But I heard it took some people several hours.
Pure and Simple... Santa loves those that love Snow and him (of course).
