Dusting away the Cob-webs

Well after years of playing the role of Couch-Potato Jeopardy Contestant, I am throwing caution to the wind in my bid to become a REAL Jeopardy contestant and so tonight I will participate in the Jeopardy On-line Test. I registered 2 weeks ago and tonight at 8 pm I put the grey matter to the world wide weeb and give'er.

I'd love to be on the show, if only to say "I'll take Potpourri for $800 please, Al-eex" (like Catherine O'Hara, in a spoof of Jeopardy on SCTV years ago)

Wish me luck.

Speaking of pot-pouri ... when the heck did it get so expensive?
The Bay was selling a bag of a cinnamon scent for $20.00 this past weekend.... they are just dried up leaves, no?

In any case, Bonne Chance during your on-line Jeopardy challenge.

The key words in your post that explain the coast are:

THE BAY

:-)

and your recommendation for reasonably priced pot-pouri would be?

I'm all ears!

well I'd go to Zellers (you know, the 1/2 price sister of La Baie...)

Then again, me no likey Potpourri... I think it's more dust collector than room scent enhancer...

Its not really a dust collector if you change it every 2 weeks. Its more a a money down the drain thing!

How did a jeopardy post become so pot-pourri obsessed? Anyhoots,
GOOD LUCK!!! You know, our entertainment guy John Moore was on Jeopardy. If you make it thru, he can be your Pat Morita.

Let us know how it goes!

Before I go all Ralph Macchio on John... just how far did he go? Did he win? How many days? How much money?

So the test was over before you could say "I'll make it a true daily double"

50 Questions
15 seconds to answer each.

I think I answered about 35 of em.

Some were painfully easy, others, I was like WTF?!

Anyway, they do not offer results. If you make it to the 2nd round they contact you. Seeing as there are two further days of Tests, I don't anticipate hearing anything for at least 3 days.

It was fun tho.
