Observations from Snowy Street level:

- If you wear sneakers in the WINTER, when it’s SNOWING and the roads and sidewalks are SLIPPERY and you fall FOUR times within ½ a block, you have no one to blame but yourself. Don’t blame the city. I might also add you look like a total knob with no gloves or hat on either …but THANK YOU ever so for the entertainment you give.

- The next bum you walk past on the street talking loudly as if he’s carrying on a conversation you only hear ½ of (the other ½ in his head); you’re probably wrong -as I was this morning- No it’s just a slovenly dressed individual talking into his blue-tooth. Whish is one of the many reasons why I won’t get a cell phone… enough people already think I’m a crazy person.

- I love the sound snow makes when you’re walking in it.

Are you only realizing NOW that I am not normal? I had a tough weekend. Both Sat and Sun I was busy going to funeral memorials. I am feeling down I need a pick-me-up and what better way?

I need a bit of extra cash... looking to maybe get rid of my 2005honda and getting a newer one. So if I make enough I just may trade it in. If not, back to the drawing board. LOL

I too love the sound that snow makes when you walk on it. It’s like no other crunchy sound in the world. I haven’t seen snow in years and years but I can distinctly hear that sound in my head. Down here we have a curious phenomenon that happens on the beach and that is Singing Sand. The sand has to have all of the right conditions to make it sing but the effect is like when a tennis shoe squeaks across a gym floor. A barefoot traipsing across the sand makes it happen.

Talk about slovenly dressed I went out yesterday with my jumper inside out! Just how deep is that snow!

ayem8ty... I am intruiged by the 'singing sand' you've piqued my intrest yet again!

Mitz... I did that last thursday... I shit you not! The snow here well there's a cvcouple feet, but most gets plowed away from the streets and the sidewalks so you really only can tell if you have a yard, or live near a park.... downtown it's almost impossible to accuratly guage the full ammount...
