Freaky Dinks!
Ok, so while reviewing pics of this past weekend I decided I would put up a pic of 'Les Français" from the Fireworks on Saturday night, but I decided against adding them to the actual fireworks post because this pic deserves it's OWN post.
Three of the guests were Sandrine (a good friend of Didier's sister Martine) and her two children Arthur and (I think) Pauline... although it could have been Caroline... not sure as there seems to be some disagreement between Didier and I on what her name is actually. Anyhoo this is not the point I wish to illustrate...
Having met them 2 weeks prior we were already aware that while perfectly cute, lovely blonde haired and blue eyed, they are deviousnesses and just a smidge high strung... (I'd make allusions to French Poodles - having once owned one I know what I speak of - but perhaps that's just not nice... comparing children to dogs... and really, when you think about it, which is more insulted... the dogs or the children... HEH!) They were a lively duo to say the least, the girl with the most incredible vocals... Certainly if one is to excel and utilize one's natural talents, she should consider a career in Opera or perhaps recording car and fire alarms...
... annnnnnnnnyhoo, where was I? ... oh yes... so I took a group photo after I arrived home from Family Guy Live, before the Fireworks began. As I was editing the pics I noticed there was a lot of Red-Eye in the pic and wanted to wait and edit it before uploading. This morning I edited the photo and 'de-redeyed' all... except... that the children's eyes were unaffected. I did their eyes again, and still no improvement. So again and again and again, to a total of 7 times, I attempted to take the evil out of their eyes... but that evil is there to stay.

Your just not a KID person are you? Its OK not everyone is!!
Well I don't want any of my own... but I do't mind others... in general, but look at their eyes, I'm telling you they are EVIL!
:-)
ditto here!!
i don't HATE kids....
i just want them ELSEWHERE!!!!!
but often, i'll not blame the kids for certain behavior, but rather the parents....
discipline is lacking when considering "l'enfant-roi"...
those kids do look cute, not SO evil...
but then, i didn't witness whatever they are capable of...
:D~
my heart goes out to you, M_K!!
HUGZ
Oh I totally agree. Kids will only be poorly behaved if they are allowed to do so. I often see kids doing things that I know would have gotten my arse tanned but good. My Mother was a firm believer in punishment, ie spanking and I'll tell you this, She didn't have to do it often because when she indicated that one more outburst was going to result in a spanking, I cooled my jets but fast! I think too many parents are afraid to spank their kids and tat's a shame because that's why we have so many brats out there. Tere's a huge difference between a couple well places spanks, and beating your child to the point of abuse...
These two were good overall, but I think the mother was just burnt out on a vacation with the two alone... I feel for her!
And I still stand by their evilness by way of those evil eyes! ;-)
if you're SO concerned with evilness having entered your home, you can burn some sage...that should do it! a bit of wickan for you here...
:)~
you see, MY mom was a BIG believer
in spanking, with her bare hands, or with a giant, thick ruler....
i've always thought my penchant for s&m derived from those times.
the good thing is, she taught me to be resilient in the face of pain, so much so, that i often got in trouble, almost on purpose...
i dreaded those moments, as she was SO brutal, but i survived...
:)~
takes more than a beating to take me down!!
anyway,
kids are cute, but they are demanding. i raise my hat to anyone whose got some of THOSE...
:D~
My Mom was also fond of a belt and she'd make US go and get one to bring to her for the deed. Also wooden spoons... funny thing was, with the spoons... by the time me and my brother were in our teens there were about 5 each of those wooden spaghetti forks and meat tenderizers... but no wooden spoons left... She'd cracked them all on our ass! lol The cheap pine would snap in half after a whack or too!
And I don't blame her for one crack of the belt, bare handed spank or wooden spoon whack... trust me each and every one was deserved...
:D~
i didn't lay blame, just pointed out i got early training into s&m...
:D~
& you, PINE?????
you got it easy.
my dad's ruler was large & thick hardwood. the damn thing never broke...
:D~
neither did my ass, or my spirit!!!
;)~
still got the numbers imprinted on your ass?
:D~ no, that's the only thing....
those faded off the ruler,
thus losing its primary purpose...
So what your saying is your ass is as rough as sandpaper???
nah!!
smooth & hairy,
but tough to any "assault...
:)~
TMI4U???
:D~
Not at all. We got a couple planks on our roof top that need work, think you can hual your ass over to get the splinters out? ;-)
:)~

from your lips to god's ears...
or my pharmacist's...
:D~
if i go,
it may be a short visit,
but at least,
we'll have a face to put to a name....
;)~
Well you know if you need anything and you cant make it out... you could always ask... I gots me two feet and a heartbeat...

i'm used to manage on my own,
but it's real kind.
