Another piece of our childhood is lost. I loved Mother Markus. There's something Pavlovian about seeing a pic of her or hearing her voice saying "DON'T SLOUCH" that automatically makes me sit up straight. We must also pay homage at this point to Max, butler to Nora Desmond. True comedy genius that will never be duplicated. Rest well, Harvey, you deserve it. "I'm so glad we had this time together..."
i had lately been posting some of carol burnett's sketches, namely, the dentist on my "ticklebear" page. i'm saddened to know he's now gone. indeed, great childhood memories watching that show... sniff!!! :(~

...and the GREAT GAZOO lest we not forget Harvey was the voice of tGG
You Tube has a bunch of clips -- like the classic "dentist" sketch where Tim Conway has Harvey laughing so hard he's crying by the end of it.
It's here:

or just search Carol Burnett dentist sketch.
This was what I loved about Harvey -- his complete inability to keep a straight face :)

I loved him as Dr. Charles Montague (opposite Cloris Leachman's Nurse Diesel) "You're so strict!"
