Those were the days my friend...

...we thought they'd never end.

Looks like the party is over for diabetics and coffee... *sigh*

This is extremely sad and depressing news. I'm by no means an addict, but I generally have at least one cuppa joe in the morning with my breakfast. On the weekend I'll have 2 or 3 to start the day... Alas, no mo'.

Looks like me and NGB are shit outta luck for a cup of happy with out breakfasts from here on end, because lets face it, decaf is for pussies.

So I read the link, and to quote my late Grandpa McIntyre, "Balls on Mother Goose!"

However, I'm just finishing my second cup of coffee, and will go test my blood sugar.

Alright. I just tested and came in at 10.8. I'm usually in the 5-7 range. But keep in mind, I also had cinnamon toast for breakfast, because I'm out of my peanuts-only peanut butter; and the best time to get an accurate reading is two hours after eating. Everyone's blood sugar rises naturally after eating, therefore the two hours after rule.

So I still think that study is a pile of sugary crap.

My acid stomach doesn't let me drink coffee. I have to get my caffeine from other, less strong sources.

Welcome to my world.

Bwahahahahahaha.
