IdFLQ - USA

Well there's one thing you can count on the good ole U S of A and that's good Fireworks! Always Big, always bold and always loud. This year was no exception. And as much as I hate to laud anything American, but well their Fireworks were stupendous! Music by Elvis! Nice! Never cared for him when I was younger, but I can appreciate his work now and it was well matched to the fireworks. Sure there was a bit too much Red White and Blue but well it's the states and you cant expect too much. They did have other colours, greens, yellows, purples and pinks and so on...

The skies held off the rain through the display and the winds were favourable, blowing the smoke away from us! Thanks mother nature!

This one was taken during 'Blue Suede Shoes'... just at the "Well it's one for the money,Two for the show,Three to get ready" part. There were three 1's, three 2's and then three 3's. You can see one of the 2's in this pic. Impressive no?! (Hong Kong did the 2's as well but I wasn't luck enough to get a pic...)

Here's our standings...

GOLD: USA
SILVER: England
BRONZE: Hong Kong

And then you have...
Spain
Mexico

I'd like England to still be my #1 but I have to be honest... the 1-2-3 in Blue Suede Shoes was impressive... and overall USA was even that much more cohesive than England, in that the nusic was all one atrtis, easily recgonizable and married well with the fireworks.

What I find incredible is that in general only ONE of my top 3 ever seems to make it into the actual top 3...
