There's no sugar-coating it...

...my ass hurts!
(actally OUR asses hurt!)

HEY! Get yer minds outta the gutter!

Me and the Man went on a 3 hour bike ride, but forgot to take our Silicon Gel Seat Covers.

It was a great day, but damn, those sear covers make all the difference!

All I can say is OWWIE OWWIE OWWIE!

My ass hurts too. I belly danced, greek danced, did the ole OPAPA (jewish dancing), danced to some african music at my 20 year high school reunion. WHAT A BLAST.
Why do people grab other's asses? Or is it just my sick, sick friends?

Even my 1st cousin who graduated with me was so bombed he was grabbing MY ass. If it wasn't such a nasty thought it would be funny!

Man! what school was that? I have my 20th reunion coming up this year back in Halifax... and it will be plain old, hum-drum, white-bread dancing. I wanna go to your 25 year reunion...

To answer your ass-grab question:
1) It's fun.
2) they can.
3) booze.

Hey Maria, since I have your attention... I have a Greek food question for you. I have this kick ass recipe for a Greek Orange Cake that calls for Semolina flour... where the HELL can I get that downtown mtl? My Metro doesn't carry it.

Answer: Chomedey High was the school (in Laval). Was often referred to as Comedy High (after all these years, now I know why).
People came from as far as France, LA, Florida, North Carolina, Toronto, Ottawa to attend this reunion. I will get them to put you on the list for the 25th.

As for Semolina flour I would say Mourelatos (isn't there one downtown?) or maybe even Adonis. Let me know.

The only baking I do is with my friend Betty Crocker and I can buy that everywhere.

Thanks for the suggestions.

but, um, are you really Greek?!?... "The only baking I do is with my friend Betty Crocker and I can buy that everywhere"

YUP really, really 100% greek. BUT I don't know how to bake ANYTHING. Not if my life depended on it!! I do cook very well though. I make one mean tzatziki.

Why do all greek people know how to bake?? Am I the only odd-ball?

Yea I am not the best baker either. I have that orange cake recipe and 3 cheese cake recipes that I can kick massive Bakery ass with, but aside from that I'm more of a cook than baker.

I make amazing Dolmades... if I do say so myself. ACTUALLY so says a Greek friend's Mother. -And if you get a Greek Mother's stamp of approval you KNOW you're doing something right!!!

I've never quite found a recipe for Taramosalata that pleased me... and by 'please me' I mean inspired me to clean the bowl with fingers and tongue. :-)

wow what an explanation.
I will see what I can find for you regarding the Taramosalata.

Marven's on Ball Street makes great greek food!
